Hi, NC Students and NC Parents! We are excited to be able to share that over Spring Break 2023 (March 10th – March 15th) we are planning a Ski Trip for our 8th-12th grade students. We believe this is a special and exciting way to foster and grow our student’s friendships with each other and invite others into that community.

We will be skiing on Sunlight Mountain in Glenwood Springs, CO. We will stay at the Glenwood Suites in Glenwood Springs. It is located just off Interstate 70 at the West Glenwood exit, and will be where we stay Saturday Night – Tuesday Night. On Friday night on the drive there, we will be staying at the Best Western in Ellis, Kansas.

Cost: $699*

Travel Schedule:
We will be traveling as a convoy with 3 vans total. Two 15-Passenger transit vans and 1 cargo van. We will have six adult leaders who are all able to rotate driving for the duration of the trip. We will depart from New Covenant Friday around 5 pm and drive into the evening. We will be spending the night in Hays, KS about 4 hours into our trip. Finally, we will be departing in the morning on Saturday for Glenwood Springs, CO.
On Wednesday for the return trip, we will be leaving early that morning and driving the trip back to arrive at New Covenant that night.

The cost includes ski rentals, helmets, lodging, transportation, and food while we are in Glenwood Springs. The only things that are not covered are travel meals (4 total) while we are driving there and back, one meal out in downtown Glenwood Springs on Monday Night, and an optional half-day ski lesson (~$75).

*This cost is non-refundable. We will owe deposits and full payments for this trip well in advance, so by registering you are committing to paying in full by March 10th barring any other arrangements made with the student ministry director.
